Hamilton Rod & Gun Club is an active participant in the
Mass Wildlife Club Pheasant Program. Sponsor
clubs, such as Hamilton,
raise pheasant throughout the summer months for the sole purpose of
releasing the adult birds into the appropriate habitat during the hunting
season for public recreational hunting.
From the States inception of the program Hamilton has been a strong participate in the
program. The Game Committee was established to oversee and manage this
important resource. Working together with the Upland Game Committee the
members foster Hamilton’s
overall upland game program.
